Life, I have found, is filled with challenges.  They come in all shapes and sizes and are sometimes anticipated and other times come as a complete surprise.  Perseverance is what helps me face these challenges and what gets me through.  I am known for saying “get er done” which is my way of saying “persevere – you can do this!”  Perseverance by definition is a “continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition.”  It is by perseverance and faith I have been able to overcome and succeed in those areas most important to me:  faith, family, friends, Vantage.

Our team at Vantage is made up of great people who have individual strengths and skills that, when combined, yield superior service and the highest quality for you, our client.  As we work together to bring you solutions for your financial concerns we do so through a commitment of trust and service.  For over 25 years, perseverance has helped me lead our team through the challenges of building a business through many government, economic, market and regulatory cycles.  My role at Vantage has evolved as our company has grown to a team of sixteen serving clients across the globe yet still I enjoy working right alongside clients the most.  Leading our team as we stand alongside our clients and persevere through life’s challenges is my life’s work.  Watching as client’s overcome these challenges to stand stronger on the other side remains our goal.

Kim Taylor Challenge

placeholder-md.pngChallenge

Kim Taylor

I love a good challenge! It can make me feel alive or can serve to reset my humility to where it probably should be. Challenges often reset perspective, grow faith and strengthen resolve. They can also serve to unnerve or unsettle me when one hits unexpectedly. That is why a passion of mine is to come alongside those who are facing a life altering challenge. Helping others to overcome and to excel beyond what they ever thought they could is something I do well and something that brings me great joy. Too many people accept ‘good enough’ in a life that offers abounding possibility.

It is this passion which drives my efforts at Vantage. Challenging our team to seek out the very best, to identify and respect our limits and support strategic initiatives toward corporate goals and business development is a large part of my role at Vantage. Being responsible to ensure the team meets regulatory requirements is quite a challenge in this regulatory led industry. Doing so in such a way that our clients receive the best we have to offer is a challenge I enjoy every day.

Tom Vislisel Listen

placeholder-md.pngListen

Tom Vislisel

In Czechoslovakian, Vislisel means to listen ‘like a priest listens to a confession’.  I love to listen to people; it is what I enjoy most about working as a financial planner.  Providing a listening ear as people share their stories allows me to learn about their experiences, their families and their passions.

My favorite book to read is the Bible because I believe it provides the best wisdom to live by. So, it is incredibly rewarding for me to help clients incorporate biblical wisdom into their financial planning. Listening as clients share their goals is a privilege and a confidence I respect. In my role at Vantage, I lead in the preparation of clients financial plans and stand alongside the client to help as the plan is put into place. I enjoy hearing client's success stories and embrace opportunities to contribute my own knowledge and wisdom along the way.

Jay Kulikowski Build

placeholder-md.pngBuild

Jay Kulikowski

When I was a child, I spent hours playing with Legos to build the possessions I dreamed of owning one day. Whether building my future dream home, a cool car, or an airplane that could take me around the world, I remember feeling rewarded by the accomplishment of being able to build ‘my dreams.’ This time in my youth influenced the views I have today. I believe that anyone can accomplish anything they set their mind to.

At Vantage, I value the opportunity to work with clients toward helping them build a better tomorrow. It fascinates me to learn about our clients, to help them develop their dreams and goals, and to work with them through the financial planning process so that they can accomplish their aspirations. After all, the sky’s the limit.

Knowledge and finding answers is my motivator. I want to solve puzzles, fix problems, and unravel the secrets trapped within a mystery. When a topic catches my interest I seek out everything I can find out about it. It’s who I am. It doesn’t stop there though; this trait extends in my relationships with everyone in my life. Helping others overcome the challenges they face through knowledge and an answer found is a passion that motivates me on a daily basis. I approach everyday with the same two goals, know more today about the world than I knew yesterday, and lessen the suffering of others. The possibilities these offer are endless.

In my role at Vantage, I enjoy exploring new technology advances. I seek to make it easy for our team to bring our clients top quality in all we do. I apply the same approach as an Investment Analyst as I help to develop our investment process. Through research, design and review I support our client needs and provide quick results to our Investment Managers. It is my privilege to make things easier for you.

I really like being organized! Being organized allows me to be productive and efficient no matter the task at hand. With six grandchildren and two daughters with busy families, keeping my life organized allows me to be available to spend time with these precious blessings. Organization helps me stay on top of things so I can be ready when I am needed.

I support our team and clients in the same way. These days, the paperwork required to open and maintain accounts can be confusing. The forms and disclosures can be quite confusing. I enjoy providing clients an organized packet to work with so that accounts are opened quickly and properly each time. My desire is to use my skills to make this part of our client’s experience as easy and simple as possible. I strongly believe that my organization skills bring benefit to our clients and team and enjoy sharing this skill wholeheartedly.

Bonnie Brztowski Learn

placeholder-md.pngLearn

Bonnie Brztowski

Ever since I was a small girl, I’ve had an insatiable appetite to learn. Some of my favorite gifts as a child were books, paper, pencils, and a chalkboard. As an adult, this desire has become a way of life. I love to learn… through formal education, reading, researching, and listening to others. As a Christian I easily embrace the concept of being a ‘disciple’ - a follower and student of a teacher or leader. Thus, Jesus is my ultimate teacher and leader.

My role at Vantage is very exciting and includes many challenges. Operations and compliance require keeping up with technology and regulations, a herculean task by itself. Staying on top of changes while seeking opportunities to improve support for the team and service to our clients is a goal I work toward every day. My passion is to support others to success. I do this for the team and I look forward to doing this for you.

Scott Rosenquist Dedicate

placeholder-md.pngDedicate

Scott Rosenquist

Dedication can mean different things to people. To me, it means giving it everything you have and not getting discouraged when faced with adversity. It allows me to be creative in solving problems as I don’t give up easily. Putting in the time and effort towards a goal whether its work related or something in my personal life makes reaching that goal very satisfying. I think a lot my dedication comes from my influences early in life, mainly my family. Their hard work in their careers instilled a strong work ethic in me. I believe I carry that with me today. Dedication can mean the difference between success and failure.

My dedication to our team and clients at Vantage is what contributes to our client’s success. By continuing on until I find not just an answer but the best answer I can find I hope to provide the highest level of client service. Our investment team is close and we have a commitment to support each other and to uphold Vantage’s Investment Philosophy. I am dedicated to bringing all I have into my role at Vantage.

Niki Taylor Discern

placeholder-md.pngDiscern

Niki Taylor

In the simplest form, discernment is the ability to see the differences between truth and error or right and wrong, yet it is defined as the quality of being able to grasp and comprehend what is obscure. My strength of discernment developed in part because of a discomfort with ambiguity. People who know me will say I need everything defined and thought out far in advance. I like details and structure. I think once a plan is established, it is easier to let go and enjoy life because there is a security in knowing what will happen and what will not. My friends like to call me “the voice of reason” because I will always give an honest answer. I love when friends come to me for advice and I can recognize how to help.

This discernment helps me clarify the best way to prioritize my tasks so that client and team needs are quickly met. Vantage specializes in planning so my desire to plan things out supports that mission. In my role, I prepare account forms and assist with client service needs. Planning ahead allows me to quickly and efficiently complete tasks and projects. My desire to use discernment in helping others is refined through the support I provide our team.

Tom Rueger Analyze

placeholder-md.pngAnalyze

Tom Rueger

For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed analyzing things and working with detail. It seems like most people don’t enjoy those things, but I do. Not only do I enjoy them, but I see them as extremely important. That’s because a detailed analysis leads to a detailed understanding and a detailed understanding is the best starting point for whatever is next. This understanding can then lead to seeing and overcoming potential obstacles, improving situations and processes, and being more efficient. Quite simply, this is the foundation for whatever goal you want to accomplish.

At Vantage, I enjoy being part of something bigger, that is, a process that serves the client by helping them to think through their goals and then assisting them in meeting those goals. In my role I get to analyze the details in order to provide clients with the best possible foundation for the rest of their financial planning process and helping the client to accomplish their goals.

Jon Alton Innovate

placeholder-md.pngInnovate

Jon Alton

Ever since I could remember, I had some type of connection to the internet. Whether it was the dial-up internet I grew up with or the mobile data on my phone today, limitless information was always at my fingertips. Growing up as a son of two college professors, I was always searching to learn as much as possible. At the core of innovation is deep understanding and an inquisitive mind. The best way to innovate is to learn as much as you can and then ask “What can I do to make this better?” Eventually that lightbulb above my head lights up and a more efficient and effective result is born.

As I grow into my role at Vantage, I will look to absorb as much knowledge as possible. I want to learn what works and what benefit may arise from a new approach, in hopes of discovering the very best ways to fulfill my role. I aspire to innovate our planning process as our firm and this industry grows, so that I can always provide the best possible service.

April White Solve

My family has given me the nickname of ‘Solution-eer’. They said, "If Disney has Imagine-eers, you are a Solution-eer." Whether working on homework or the family puzzle at Christmas time, learning how to work through problems and find solutions started early in life. I feel blessed to use my problem solving skills and talents to help others, both professionally and through volunteer opportunities.

In my role at Vantage, I have the unique opportunity to provide support to our clients and our team. Specifically I help support our data collection and plan report processing. It is my hope to bring solutions to this role as the needs arise. I am excited to be a part of the Vantage team, and to support them in providing individualized solutions for our clients.

Jon Flaherty Prepare

placeholder-md.pngPrepare

Jon Flaherty

My grandpa always said, “If you’re going to take the time to do something, you might as well take the time to do it right.” That saying has stuck with me, and it inspires me to do the best that I can on anything that life’s adventures bring my way. In order to do something right, I’ve found that the more prepared I am the better the end result will be. There are many ways to prepare, and many different levels of preparedness, but having resources, knowledge and a thought out plan available to draw on provides a strong starting point to achieving your goals.

I believe that the same philosophy carries over to our financial life, and I’m excited to do my part at Vantage to help our clients prepare for the expected and the unexpected. In my role, I will be working with you to help on tasks ranging from data collection to financial plan preparation and analysis. It’s my hope that by being prepared for these assignments will allow me to serve you to the best of my ability. The only question that remains is…are you prepared?
