Six (6) of our team members have earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, or CFP® professional certification: Michael Rohrwasser, Tom Vislisel, Jay Kulikowski, Tom Rueger, Jon Flaherty and Joe Fortunato. To earn the CFP®, our professionals completed an exam consisting of 170 multiple-choice questions over the course of two 3-hour sessions.
CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ are certification marks owned by the CFP® Board. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP® Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
Dan Zalipski and Scott Rosenquist hold the CFA® designation. Among the credentials that financial professionals hold, none are more highly regarded than the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. The CFA charterholder embodies the following core tenets: Ethics: Every CFA® charterholder is required to annually sign a statement declaring adherence to the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of professional conduct. Knowledge and Experience: Every CFA® charterholder has a least four years of industry experience and has passed 18 hours of rigorous examinations on subjects that include investment tools, asset valuation, portfolio management, and the application of ethical and professional standards. Global Investment Knowledge: The CFA® has become a globally-relevant professional investment credential. Recognition: The program's professional standards has made the CFA® one of the highest distinctions and reserved for a select group of rigorously-trained professionals.
Joe Fortunato has earned his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation. A Chartered Financial Consultant is a professional designation representing the completion of comprehensive coursework, examinations and practical experience on advanced financial topics such as estate planning and employee benefits planning.
Kim Taylor has earned the IACCP® (Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional Program) designation. The certification acknowledges the heightened role of compliance and responds to growing industry demands for advanced compliance education and nationally-recognized professional standards.
Tom Rueger is doctor of jurisprudence. He completed three years of law school and has passed the bar exam to practice law.
Tom Vislisel has earned the Certified Kingdom Advisor® designation. This certification allows advisors to confidently integrate technical expertise and biblically wise counsel in a financial advising role. To obtain and maintain the CKA® designation, one must have certain approved degrees or certifications-such as the CPA or CFP® or 10 years of experience in their designated field. Kingdom Advisors also asks for three letters of reference, one of which must come from a church leader. Candidates show commitment to biblical stewardship and Christian values, including charitable giving, by signing a statement of personal stewardship. Once certified, CKA® designees must maintain membership with Kingdom Advisors and take ten hours of continuing education annually.
